I am pretty concerned about the attempt to bomb a US airliner. However, the latest news about the Obama administration and Yeman trying to find a target to retaliate against Al Qaeda in Yeman concerns me, too.
This starts to feel like the bombings by the Clinton administration after the USS Cole attack. The bombing attacked a wrong target and even if it did work, it would not have done much against Al Qaeda by one bombing. It feels the administration is more concerned about the political consequences than trying to defeat our enemies.
I think the administration to focus on more to attack the root of the problem than this kind of retaliations.
